My name is Liam O’Brien and I’m a Brisbane-based emerging artist.
Common characteristics of my arts practice include a challenging of pre-existing systems and practices, a criticism of consumerism and materialism, and an overall sense of disillusionment and rebellion.
Whilst having been trained in photographic art practice, my work commonly incorporates video and performance elements, and appears to be moving towards greater levels of interdisciplinarity.
This website serves as a record of my development as a practicing artist, and will continue to expand as my investigation into life and art continues.
Please feel free to contact me if you have any queries, and thank you for your visit.
